ECS Video Systems was recently pleased to provide executive teleprompter services for the dedication ceremony of the Tom Brady statue at Gillette Stadium. It was a beautiful summer afternoon for both Mr. Kraft and Mr. Brady to use prompter at this historic event.
That’s a wrap on this year’s commencements. It started with Northeastern University at Fenway Park and ended with Dartmouth College in Hanover NH. Seventeen in all. Thanks to our extensive teleprompter rental inventory and excellent operators, we did four on one very busy day. Dartmouth could not have had a more beautiful day to send their graduates off into the world and for ECS Video Systems to wrap up commencement season.
Just about an hour before nearly 60,000 people entered the stadium
Last night we were pleased to provide executive prompter services for the New England Patriots’ Tom Brady Induction Ceremony into their Hall of Fame. It was a beautiful and fun spring evening for nearly 60,000 fans to witness in person this historic event. We utilized our Telescript MPS remote height adjustable presidential prompter system for this event. It came in very handy because the two presenters, Robert Kraft and Tom Brady, are of dramatically different heights. This system was also useful because there were times during the evening when the director wanted the prompter out of sight. These motorized remote control prompters are a game changer in this kind of situation. Emerson College inaugurated a new President last week at the beautiful Majestic Theatre in Boston and ECS Video was there providing teleprompter for this school’s historic event.
We know spring and warmer weather are on the way when we get our first request of the season for using a teleprompter outdoors. We wouldn’t say it was warm (50’s with a good wind coming off Boston Harbor) but it was sunny, and all our displays are outdoor readable. It has been a very busy fall for ECS Video Systems. We had our teleprompters on lots of straight video productions, in person, and on Zoom, virtual events, and graduations which keep coming long after the traditional season is over. There were a few live events, in hotel ballrooms, and a Katie Couric book tour event at the Orpheum Theater in Boston. There was even this shoot with Alex Rodriguez for MLB and Mastercard. ECS Video Systems was pleased last week to be a part of Boston Beer Company’s first virtual 2020 Internal Annual Meeting. It was broadcast, socially distanced, from their Sam Adams Downtown Taproom, located adjacent to Boston’s historic Faneuil Hall. From one of three control rooms, Magic Scroll for Windows prompting software fed three Cue Script CSM -17 (17 inch) on-camera displays. An additional display, mounted on a Steadicam, roamed the three different sets created in the Taproom.
